Walk down to the Slug of Auchrannie (not for the feint-hearted), our very own dramatic waterfall. Amble on further down the farm track to the open woodland containing many ancient oaks and Scots Pine and then on to gentle banks of the River Isla perfect for wild-swimming . If you take a fly-rod, you might just be lucky with a trout. Maybe you will be overwhelmed by the remoteness and simply sit and watch the river swirling gently past and the Dippers (cinclus cinclus) bobbing up and down of the fern strewn rocky outcrops.
