Wester Campsie is a family farm with the recently renovated farmhouse now available for guests to relax and enjoy the beauty and charm of this peaceful and unique setting.

The renovation has been completed to immaculate standards, including environmentally friendly air source heating and solar panels. The 19th century stone farmhouse, with walls up to three feet thick sits in secluded gardens and woodlands, complete with its own wee ‘burn’ tumbling through the grounds and looks out onto a traditional meadow.

The house comprises a modern L-shaped kitchen but retains the old woodburning Rayburn which guests can light to enjoy some extra warming comfort at cooler times and even use it to cook the old-fashioned way if they wish! (free logs included). Downstairs is a beautifully appointed bathroom (toilet/shower/bath), the sitting room with log-burning stove and a south facing conservatory leading out to the terrace with charcoal BBQ overlooking the gardens. Upstairs you will find two large double bedrooms, a smaller room with twin beds and another bathroom. All with central heating from the air source heat pump.

The kitchen is well equipped with everything you might need during your stay, including an electric oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, filter coffee machine, kettle and a TV for added convenience. Adjacent to the kitchen, the utility room offers a washing machine, tumble drier, drying space, iron and ironing board.

The sitting room is a welcoming space, complete with comfortable sofas, reclining chairs, a TV, a selection of games and books, as well as a Sonos sound system and Alexa-operated lighting to help set the perfect atmosphere. There’s also a bright and airy conservatory with cosy seating, a TV and lovely views out to the terrace, gardens and surrounding meadows — an ideal spot to relax and unwind.
